Description
isnw_ecp Little Walter (born Marion Walter Jacobs in Marksville, LA, and raised in Alexandria, LA) (May 1, 1930 - February 15, 1968) was a blues singer, harmonica player, and guitarist with Bo Diddley on Guitar (December 30, 1928 – June 2, 2008, born Ellas Otha Bates), was an original and influential American rock & roll singer, guitarist, and songwriter. As per the original owner of these two tapes, these are two unreleased songs recorded in October of 1967. He claimed to have received these tapes directly from Bo Diddley who was cleaning out his locker at Chess Studio when it was closing. (Recorded7 1/2 I.p.s.). These two songs were untitled, but we named them based on the lyrics. They are "MAKES ME FEEL SO BAD" and " TRY TO MAKE IT ALRIGHT" We have been told by experts in this field, that these are indeed two unknown songs. They figured that based on Little Walter's bad vocals, they were deeded unsuitable for commercial release. What you are bidding on are the two original tapes which are on indivuial 2 1/2 reels. In additional you received the original cassette tape to which we transcribed the music when first received (in an effort to save the actually tapes which we though might be fragile from old) And a CD-R which we used upload sound to this auction Any questions please ask before bidding! Illinois residents pay 10.25% sales tax on final auction price Priority S&H on this item is $6.00 within the US. Europe & Japan $12.00 Combine orders and same on postage Paypal available.
