This comes with the Reproducer Serial 231232 from the National Phonograph Company of course, and the Recorder is Serial 97262 also from National Phonograph Company. Wow - so you can play back the recordings or if you had the right phonographs you could make a recording? That must have been something in it's Day. This is the first one I have seen with the extra parts, It even has a little bottle labeled Edison Battery Oil? It's all so neat. We do not have the Crank, this unit came from an estate sale, they found this beauty tucked away in the attic. The crank must have been in another box. So we can not test play it, but everything looks good and well preserved.It also has three phonograph cylinders two in their containers one on the player - the one on the player shows its age and ware more than the other 2. See photos for more details. The Recordings areWHEN YOU ARE A LONG WAY FROM HOMEEVERYTHING IS HUNKY DOREYCASEY AT THE TELEPHONE (on the phonograph - no container) All pieces show signs of use and ware. Nothing that would not be expected of a phonograph of this age, it is a beautiful unrestored Survivor:Phonograph Base/player is in very good condition. Cylinders in packaging are in very good condition. The Horn paper backing material is pealing, it shows signs of it's age and ware, the small piece at the end of the horn that fits on to the Reproducer or Record is loose Overall Horn is in Good Condition.  The cylinder on the player "Casey at the telephone" is in average condition. We are not experts on this piece of history, but it appears complete, with the exception of the Crank. This piece of history would be great for the collector, fan or just as a decorative piece.
