Description
From Wiki:Form and Meaning Reach Ultimate Communion is a 1986 EP by the anonymous Australian band TISM. It was only ever released as an LP and is very hard to find today. When first released it was released with a picture with blue shading on the cover and a poster ( Note: there is NO POSTER with this item), the later releases had the same picture on the cover except for the red shading on the picture and no poster. The album rose to Number 1 on the Australian Alternative Charts. In 1988, it seems, F&MRUC was re-issued by Elvis Records and distributed by Musicland, this version differed significantly as it was RED. However, at the present time, the album is rare, because of the tiny pressing numbers (some say only 1,000 or 2,000 copies). In 1991 Shock Records re-released the contents of F&MRUC as a CD named Gentlemen, Start Your Egos. This CD is a must for any TISM fan as it contains many other rare tracks, which cannot be found outside of their original vinyl format, in most cases 12 inch singles.F&MRUC holds other interesting factors outside of its scarcity for TISM fans though. Firstly, "Take Your Love" is a different version than that found on Gentlemen. (And all for those who bought the Collected Recordings 1986-93 (Shock, 1996), where another version of "Take Your Love" is a bonus track, this is not the track on F&MRUC). The F&MRUC version of "Take Your Love" has more acoustic guitar, clearer and rawer Hitler-Barassi vocals, and bizarre reversed feedback and chanting - no radio samples at all. The song is a brutal, and sombre piece. The background feedback sounds are the backward masking of 'The Art/Income Dialectic', of which there are three versions. To the TISM fan F&MRUC is a piece of history, just by briefly examining it we can see the ground-breakingly sharp, clear and distinctive satire of TISM at their formative stage. The concepts are fresh, raw and full of life. Freudian anxieties peep through now and then, and the simplicity of their imagery is confronting in it's originality."Mistah Eliot - He Wanker""A Face Full Of Divertamenti""Kill Yourself Now And Avoid The Rush""Take Your Love""Root""Defecate On My Face" (Country Version) [Unlisted]"All Ordinaries Index""I’m Into Led Zep"NOTE: There is no poster. Both wax and cover are excellent condition. Elvis Records (ER1202)AUSTRALIAN PRESSING!Buyer pays P&P, which is 14.00 U.S., airmail. worldwide!
Will accept PayPal. Happy biddin'!
