I picked up this little gem when i saw them perform at The Tivoli on George Street, Sydney. Must have been about 1988. I guess this is quite a rarity now. Contains 90 minutes of demos, out-takes, covers and live recordings spanning 1982 - 87. Some of these are rough versions of tracks that would eventually appear on their albums, and others are unfinished songs that never made it. One of the very curious highlights is a version of the Gilligans Island TV theme song performed live in 84, which gives the audience a good laugh. Another quaint touch from the era is the liquid paper deletion of a printing error on the track listing after "A Curse On Me". I've tried holding this up to the light to see what was printed underneath, but can't make it out. I like to imagine that the liquid paper was applied by the band members themselves on the tour bus as they travelled the wide open road between cities. A forgotten treasure from a brilliant band that was tragically under-appreciated in their day. **NOTE: I wrote the above review for the Rate Your Music website. If you are a fan, grab this now as you might never see it again! Cassette tape is in perfect condition and plays great. The front cardboard cover has very light staining reflecting the age.
