Vinyl: Looks VG+ and Plays FANTASTIC, Labels: VG+. ORIGINAL FIRST PRESSING 1964 45 RPM 7-INCH RECORD/SCARCE PROMOTIONAL ONLY ONE-SIDED SINGLE! The January 1964 release of "She Loves You/I'll Get You" by Swan Records was a HUGE HIT RECORD spending two weeks just behind "I Want To Hold Your Hand" on Capitol Records at the top of the charts. As soon as "She Loves You" started slipping down the charts, Swan rushed out this SCARCE ONE-SIDED PROMO 45 to the disc-jockeys of America! Swan hoped the jocks would start spinning the "B" side "I'll Get You" and that Radio air play would subsequently stimulate a jump in sales for the single. Well, the strategy worked! "She Loves You/I'll Get You" shot to Number One on the national charts where it stayed for four more weeks. The single sold two 2,500,00 copies! This was an EXTREMELY LIMITED PRESSING and is considered one of the RAREST BEATLES RECORDS in the world! It was pressed once in a hurry and in a very short time period! The flip side has a blank white label. The flip side has grooves, but when you play the record it is silent. The "A" side label is printed black on white with the Promo label and Swan's famous "Don't Drop Out" logo on the left side. The label is semi-glossy paper stock. In the run off groove is stamped "Mastering Reco-Art Phila." The matrix number is #S-4152-I". This record's surface condition looks VG+ but PLAYS FANTASTIC with BRILLIANT CLEAR SOUND and NO surface noise to be heard during the music! [the vinyl shows some surface wear but still has good shine to it. the label has some minor age discoloration on it. there is writing on one label.] This record PLAYS FANTASTIC! SURE TO PLEASE!
