Description greatgearforyou Store You are looking at a Tascam DA-88 that is running Version 4.01 software and the SY88 card has been installed too.It is reading zero hours on the record head and everything works perfect. I am not 100% sure that the zero hour reading is correct I can only go from what the studio tech had told me about the history of this unit ( internal battery could have gone dead at some point ). It was used as a playback unit only in a studio that had at one time 16 of these.They where all maintenanced by the in house guy on there regular sceduled times ( cleaned ect. ) I have a Tascam DA-38 in another auction that only has 447 hours and that is considered very low for these units considering they cost about 4000.00 new. Before posting here I ran a sound loop from a E-mu Proteus to each channel and recorded it for 15 seconds then played them back to my Protools rig and all channels where identical in sound and levels. PERFECT ! All functions,knobs,swithes and misc. work perfect and it is very clean. Get your hands on this for a incredible price. I take great care in shipping. Bid fast it won't last. THANKS !
