Description
>>>>>> --> STEVE ELLIS & THE STARFIRES Song Book ULTRA-RARE ORIG! >>>>>> --> >>>>>> --> Iowa Great Lakes Recording Company LPM-105. VG+/VG+, rare garage LP, rumored to only be 80 (!) in circulation. Steve Ellis died in a bike crash, and this tribute to "probably the most psychedelic man the people of Western Minnesota and Eastern South Dakota have ever known" is a one-of-a-kind collection of recordings interspersed with personal recollections from bandmates and friends. This is of course the hellishly rare original, not the reissue on Get Hip Recordings.About UsTreehouse Records is the current incarnation of a series of storied record stores at the corner of 26th and Lyndale in south Minneapolis. After becoming Oar Folkjokeopus in 1972 it quickly emerged as the epicenter for the burgeoning 70s and 80s Twin Cities punk scene. Renamed Treehouse in 2001 after the Oar Folk manager took over the business, the store remains a staple of the Twin Cities underground/independent music community and the best source for used vinyl in the state.Bid With Confidencetreehouserecordsretail is a new ebay account created to sell items directly from our store.
