There are approx 1000 discs, and it comes with a refurbished Dual 1218 turntable plus another functioning Dual 1218 ( to be used for parts, if you wish). Most discs are in very good to excellent condition, many were opened without taking the original cellophane wrapper off (I just slit it & extracted the record so the cover art is also unblemished), and wherever possible, if I expected to play the record a lot, I'd tape it & play that cassette or reel instead! There are very few "Doobie Brothers/ Fleetwood Mac" sorts of records, and instead this collection is mainly based around seminal bands from the seventies. There are some early Stones, Animals etc (some in mono!), and some discs from the 80's. There is also a significant jazz section, and a smattering of other genres. It contains a number of "collectibles" & rare items. This collection has been apprised at $17000-18000, but I'd be happy with less than half of that. Feel free to set up a time whereby you or someone you designate to pull out & play a few records at random to prove my claims. I'm not prepared to ship this, though for the right offer, I'd consider it. It would have to be very expensive, though. I will NOT ship outside of the US , due to customs considerations.
