Of all of the big-buck small label U.S. psych and garage LPs, perhaps none is more worthy of its price-tag and legendary stature than the Rising Storm's sole 60s LP. Time does not allow to properly gush about this gem of an album; suffice to say that, along with the C.A. Quintet album, this has been THE most eagerly-pursued private since the first groundswell of psych collector mania started bubbling in the 70s. This copy has a Near Mint cover. The vinyl we will call VG++. It is mostly unblemished, but the minor scuffs (as well as the less-than-virgin vinyl used on this LP) cause the occasional clicks. Overall, a FINE listen. After becoming Oar Folkjokeopus in 1972 it quickly emerged as the epicenter for the burgeoning 70s and 80s Twin Cities punk scene.
