Collectors know this is a very hard to find 45.Jesse Johnson on the Old Town label. Number 1195 . Left Out(1332) b/w A Hundred Pounds of Clay(1333)..This is also a promo copy .Now,onto the condition.This I believe is a Styrene record ,as such its not hardy as vinyl.This record is holding up pretty good in my opinion though..Here are things on it that are worth noting.There is a VERY little push-in style dimple on the run in on the Hundred Pounds Of Clay side .I looked at it very very close up.It does NOT present a problem, and in no way interferes with starting the record.There are a few scuffs and scratches on both sides.It has been played .Why not,they are both great tracks.Great tracks get played.The scratches that are there are on the light side ,and NOT of the finger nail catching variety ,and not many. .I will tell you this though.When I went to make a mp3 transfer of these tracks to the computer, A Hundred Pounds did skip once in one part.I played it again and again, and it played through fine after that one time on my turntable. Please note I will only vouch for my turntable, for as we all know, turntable performance can vary greatly from one to the other.You can hear both sides of this 45 on the player above.I pasted both songs into one file so you can make a judgment .The fidelity of this record on my system was beefy .Good volume to the tracks.The Hundred pound side played slightly better then the Left out side,meaning less pops,but both I would judge as good in sound.The label is glued on well,though I think they used too much glue when it was made,as it has the appearance to me, of the glue haven had bled some through the paper,which gives it some light and dark areas along with some dried glue bumps that the picture might not reveal as it would in person..Not the prettiest label in the world even for a promo .That said, all the printing on it is clear enough,and looks ok..There is NO original sleeve with this,though a generic one will be provided.Any questions ,please ask before bidding.
