It is in Near Mint condition. This is a very low hours (about 50 CDs played) unit used occassionally in a spare bedroom. This reference grade CD player features: Alpha Processing, 20-bit 8fs 4 D/A S.L.C. (Super Linear Converter) 16X oversampling Converter, GIC analog filter, Vibration-Resistant Chassis, Separate Variable and Fixed Outputs and a large transformer with independent coils for the digital servo circuitry and audio circuitry. You can use the variable output to connect this CD player straight into you amplifier, by-passing your preamp. This CD player is built like a tank and very heavy. This unit will also make a great CD transport if you have a separate DAC. This top of the line model is comparable to their REFERENCE DCD-S1 model, which will cost many times more than this one. This CD player must weigh about 25 pounds! Even heavier once it it boxed. Denon does NOT make them like this anymore! Original cost was around $1,300. No remote control included. You can use any programmable or learning remote. This is sold AS-IS. Buyer pays $54.99 shipping to anywhere in the U.S. No local pickup. Money order or certified check for immediate shipping.
