ALA.  RECORDED IN COLUMBUS, GA by BEN PARSONS who recorded many "ROOTS OF ROCK AND ROLL" artists.   BOTH SIDES ARE TEEN 50's STYLE SLOW BALLADS.  LABEL IS MONA, PUBLISHER IS NU-CLEAR MUSIC of NU-CLEAR Label fame.All MONA and PEGGY SUE label releases were recorded by Parsons' Wee Rebel/Tomahawk studio.     This recording features SAMMY SMITH and THE REBELAIRES, more famous for the later highly collectible release "ALASKA ROCK" on the WEE REBEL label which sells for $1000!     This is classic 50's rock with great quality sound.    The initial order was typically about 500 and most were mailed to deejays and many went into "file 13" so this may be one of the last remaining copies.   YOUNG FOOL was first recorded by JOHN SUHR (1956) on the NU-CLEAR label and a few years later by SMITH and even later by LYNN MOON on an unknown label.    This record conditon is EXCELLENT + TO NEAR MINTY in appearance, with strong sound very, very light surface noise.   "A" side has very SLIGHT abrasion on the label only.  I happen to have personally known the producer of this record who had it custom pressed and know he usually only had about 500 pressed, half of which were mailed to DJ's and the other half consigned to local stores and this record could very well be one of the last in existence!    GRAB THIS ...
