Description This is a rare chance to obtain one of the most sought after Pearl Jam collectibles. This is a handcrafted genuine copy of "Reeenk Roink" - a test-pressing made of Pearl Jam's first album Ten. The sleeve is handcrafted by Eddie & Jeff, as seen in picture. There are not many of these around, and it's one of the hardest Pearl Jam items to obtain. Very few of these have surfaced in it's years of existence. He received this copy from his contact in Sony, who provided a letter explaining the story behind this test-pressing (see picture). In the very few auctions/sales conducted of this rare item I have never seen anyone include a letter like this. Who Am I:I am a longtime PJ-fan who's been collecting since late '92, travelling all around to see them. Meaning I'll be happy to provide any info/pics/details fellow fans would like, and I understand from a collectors perspective how important it is to verify it's legit. Why Am I Selling:I got married in September last year, we're having a kid this year, and we've purchased a new appartment which is finished first quarter 2009. In other words, lots of changes going on, involving prioritizing differently + lots of costs. How You Can Know This Is A Legit Copy:1) The CDs Matrix number, which is extremtly difficult to fake (if not impossible?) is consistent with info on TwoFeetThick (see article URL above)2) I met the guy I purchased it from in person, and he had a pretty similar way of obtaining it, compared to other Reeenk Roink's original stories (see article URL above)3) The letter he received from his Sony contact, explaining the story behind RR. This letter is included in the sale, and works as a nice proof All in all, there is no doubt this is the real thing.
