Innocent, sensitive, fun lyrics with some great melodies. A highly underrated artist especially when you consider this album. "Cool Night" is a pop masterpiece with the hits "65 Love Affair" and the title track delivering hook after hook that doesn't stop there. "You Came To Me", "Somebody's Gettin' To You" and "Love Or Let Me Be Lonely" have to also rank as some of his finest work. Absolutely no filler here and unbelievable that this CD is long out-of-print. It has been released twice that I know of. Once on the K-TEL Records label that was really a poor quality bare bones release and was not remastered. And again with this edition which was made in Japan and issued by the ARISTA/BMG Victor label which far exceeds the quality of the K-TEL version. As many of you may know, Japanese pressings are the best possible quality, often remastered to deliver crystal clear sound. This is definitely the ultimate edition of this album. I decided to list this one at a set buy it now price for anyone out there who wants it quick and doesn't want the hassle of bidding and possibly being outbid. Please be aware of some sellers on ebay selling fake counterfeit, poor quality, illegal bootlegs of any CD of value and advertising them as if they are legitimate releases. I've learned to always check the sellers feedback before bidding or buying, and, ask questions if it is not totally clear that the item is an original. This is a completely original, authentic release on the ARISTA/BMG Victor label. (Not a fake counterfeit). It is brand new and still factory sealed. Other then a small, not very noticable1 inch crack on the front of the jewel case, everything is in pristine mint condition complete with the OBI strip. It is not a cut-out.
