"Cannonball" Adderley. These tracks are clearly the highlight of this album as they are the only recordings Columbia made of this amazing group in concert. One highlight of the Sextet performances is the smoking rendition of the Thelonious Monk tune, "Straight No Chaser". Monk's performances date from 1963, and players include Charlie Rouse and guest Pee Wee Russell.
