Goldmine Grading Scale: Mint (M) - Absolutely perfect in every way, few plays, possibly sealed. Near Mint (NM) - A nearly perfect record.  Record shows no obvious signs of wear. Very Good Plus (VG+) - record will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it.  May have slight signs of wear and slight scuffs and scratches. Vergy Good (VG) - A record similar to VG+ where the defects are more pronounced.  Surface noise will be evident, but will not overpower the music. Good (G) - A record that will play through without skipping, but has significant surface noise, scratches, and visible groove wear. Fair (F) - Grade between poor and good, obviously.  Very heavy damage, though the record should still play. Poor (P) - A record with heavy damage, probably will skip, and is the worst grade.
