Classic Concierto Guitar Handmade Original by Manuel Rodriquez Sr. Production Number 147 made in 1960 See dated and signed documents from Manuel Rodriguez Sr. belowAll documents are genuine and will accompany the guitar sale. This guitar has only been owned by the original buyer and has never been sold or held by anyone else. All original and is in extremely fine condition without any damage. The finger board has normal wear due to playing. This guitar has a beautiful, full bodied tone one would expect from a master luthier. Manuel Rodriguez Sr. began working as a luthier in the José Ramirez workshop in 1939. In 1955 he opened a workshop with Archangel Fernandez in Madrid. He crafted fine guitars there until he moved to the United States in 1957. It was in Los Angeles that he established his workshop until the mid 1970's. After which he returned to Cadiz, Spain to craft guitars, now with his sons, up to the present day. Manuel Rodriquez Sr. personally produces a very limited number of custom hand-crafted guitars per year, making this guitar a very rare opportunity to purchase and own. His handmade guitars go for much more than his factory built ones or the ones built by his sons.
