There is no doubt that Mosaic Records have been quietly issuing some of the most important jazz performances ever committed to vinyl record and/or CD. Many of the Mosaic sets have reached "mythical" status and are highly prized by jazz afficionados, audiophiles and music collectors. Indeed, their sets are first rate in terms of production quality, performances chosen, libretto information and sound! All the Mosaic sets are limited edition and numbered and when they sell out, the company does not reissue them anymore - in other words, if you snooze, you lose! One of the most sought LP sets, having reached near "mythical status", is: "The Complete CBS Recordings of Eddie Condon and His All Stars". The 7-LP boxed set has been out of print for a very long time. This is a chance for you to find out for yourself why so many collectors prize this set so highly! Near Mint {NM} = Virtually flawless in every way. Near Mint Minus {NM-} = Item has some minor imperfections, some audible. Excellent {EXC} = Item obviously played and enjoyed with some noise. Very Good Plus {VG+} = Many more imperfections which are noticeable and obtrusive. The LPs are audiophile quality pressings (any collector of fine MFSL, half speeds, direct to discs, Japanese/UK pressings etc., can attest to the difference a quality pressing can make to an audio system). ****Please note - the combined weight of the outer BOX and LIBRETTO are very heavy and count as TWO (2) LPs for shipping purposes. Buyers - How to leave detailed seller ratings! When you’re rating the seller, please keep the following in mind: Be honest. Objective ratings help sellers improve performance and help future buyers accurately evaluate sellers. Review the item title and description before rating the seller on item as described. Consider only business days when evaluating communication. Sellers don’t always check email on weekends and holidays. When rating sellers on shipping time, rate the seller on the time it took them to mail the item, not the time it took you to receive the item. You should not hold sellers responsible for delays in mail services, international custom delays or for the time it took for your payment to clear. When rating the seller on shipping and handling charges, remember that sellers may charge actual packaging materials costs and a reasonable handling fee to cover the seller’s time and direct costs associated with shipping. For international transactions, you may also be responsible for duties, taxes, and customs clearance fees as requested by country laws.
