I've found all kinds of gems in a magazine files I purchased in the late 1970's, from flyers to posters to great 8x10's going back into the 1950's and 1960, as well as the bulk of photos from the 1970's. I've also gotten many great photos from the files of an Atlantic Records Branch office in the 1970's. THIS PHOTOGRAPH is from the MUSIC MAGAZINE.   The files contained stuff from the late 1950's, through the 1960's, and into the 1970's, It's an original sent from the label to magazines, select newspapers and select radio stations. I've stored it in my WASS - The Warehouse of the Aisles of Sight & Sound from the time I got it in the 1970's. It's like seeing a blast of energy, a shot of soul and R&B / Rhythm & Blues.CONDITION: The photo is in Excellent to Near Mint Condition : The photo has some slight magazine handling marks,  hard to notice unless held at an angle - with creases at the upper right border corner and lower left border corner, not into the image, just on the white border corners - it's part of the beauty of the patina of age,  part of its' history from that time it was in their files. and part of the charm of this great photograph.  As great as it is to see an image of the photograph, it does not do justice to the excitement of actually holding in your hands that moment in history. (Note: My lashmi mark is only on the internet image, it is not on the actual photograph).You may have seen this photograph, although it is rare.  I purchased it in the 1970's , and it has been stored in my WASS - Warehouse Of the Aisles Of Sight & Sound from that time.
