(1972, US title "THE PUBLIC EYE"), the last film of Carol Reed, one of the greatest film director in 20th century. It is not the well-known premier film nor blockbuster film, but a kind of lovely, sensitive, unforgettable 'gem', with charming characters, many memorable dialogues, beautiful views in London, and flowing and haunting music by John Barry. The film produced by Hal B. Wallis, written by Peter Shaffer (who later wrote "Amadeus") based on the stage play by himself, and starred Mia Farrow, Topol and Michael Jayston. The soundtrack CD released as the private pressing of John Barry Fan Club, in very limited quantities. 12 tracks, 30 minutes of Barry score. The disc is used but in mint condition, as are the inserts. It is the genuine factory pressed CD, not a CD-R.
