Bach - Sonatas & Partitas for Violin Solo, Jacques Dumont (violin - former violinist of the great Pascal Quartet) Label / Number  :  Ex Libris 16526 Description  :  1970 pressed in Switzerland, an ULTRA RARE collector item with audiophile recording. A 3 LP Box-Set with insert. Record Condition  :  NEAR MINT MINOR (see below details description with "visual grade & play grade" **) Cover Condition  :  NEAR MINT MINOR (Insert and box is near mint with only a very small tear from removal of a label - may be the price label at top right corner of the box back - see the pictures for detail) [Visual Grade: All the three LPs are professional cleaned by a Keith Monk Cleaning Machine. One side shows pale black color (not liked other 5 sides that are in clear black color, this may be affected by the vinyl pressing fault). There are a few slightly scruffs in 3 sides and one side with scruffs in three spots that may be caused by the mis-used of phono cartridges. Play Grade: All the sides are played through and sound great under my home audio (VPI MKII + SME V + Dynavector 17D2) without any distortion. The violin sounds warm and vivid, the tone is full of body and harmonic. The side that looks pale black played without problem with only a slightly background noise on some spots (this is normal for a 30 years old vinyl). The side with scruffs on 3 spots sounds great with only two or three ticks on each spot and a slightly background noise which do not affect the listening.  All the remaining sides sound great also with only a slightly background noise on one of the sides at the last 2mm tracks. The above play grade description is based on my audition test. Record & cover looks and sounds new.  NEAR MINTOnly slightest signs of handling. Record may has a non-audible flaw, labels may have a spindle trail. Minor unobtrusive surface noise are possible.  Cover may has slightest signs of normal wear.  EXCELLENTRecord May has few spindle trail, scuff marks and signs of some wear with only "barely detectable" crackles or pops. A slight noise at the beginning and some spots are allowable.  Cover may has neatly repaired seam split is permissible, slight yellowing on edges, small markings, a corner ding are possible, a cut-out hole or notch which would be mentioned.   VERY GOOD (only applied on collectable rare items)Vinyl may crackle, pop or make other annoying noises, but only not continuously, and not more loudly than the music being listened to.  Cover may has heavy used cover-wear such as ring wear and split seams, large markings, slight water damage, etc. and would be mentioned.(for CDs listed in our eBay store, they are either in NEW SEALED or used but should be in near mint or better condition.)     Payment Paypal only.     Shipping (This item is in Hong Kong so the U.S. Shipping Cost US$4 is not applied.
