Up for auction is an extremely rare vintage Hammer Damage 45 RPM LP. This 45 was recorded in the late seventies and published by Broken Records Music and recorded at After Dark Studios in Cleveland. Hammer Damage was a band local to the Kent Ohio area and had many people jumping downtown Kent at JBs down under. Side one: Laugh - 3:15 Side two: Automatic Lips - 2:58 Hammer Damage - Stuoley Demon, Butch Winkler, Mike Hammer, Donny Damage I am not a record collector and just have the record through previous relationships. I actually watched the band many many times in my late teens and just writing this brings back many great memories! Anyway, not knowing much about records I decided to take it to a local record dealer to help me determine the condition. He stated the record is in very good condition for it's age. A few minor scratches but nothing close to making it skip. He actually cleaned the record and played both sides for me. Background hiss but no skips. He also stated that the cover is also in very good condition for it's age. The cover does not have any rips and is still totally intact. It has a picture of the band and the words to both songs. Both sides of the cover have a picture of the band (different pictures). There is a light stain on the back of the cover. It is on the left side and is about 1" x 1/2". Where the stain is at the paper is slightly discolored. You can see the imperfection in the picture that has the words to Automatic Lips. The other thing to note about the cover is that the name "Dan" is written in pen on the bottom right corner of the back cover. Likely the name of the person the LP was originally distributed to.
