Some carefully, others were not.All of my gradings are strictly visual, and more often than not, quite generous. However, because of various quality in pressings,I cannot guarantee that the pressings themselves will be noise-free. That comes with the territory.Many 50's (e.g. Chess, Vee-Jay, etc.) & 60's pressings, especially the small independent labels, were pressed "on-the-cheap."I will not play these records for any reason. The record you receive will be like new and unplayed. If there are any imperfections, it will be from many years of storage, or more likely a "not-so-great" pressing.I will also not attempt to tell you if I think the song is "funky-terrific", "psych-fabulous" or the like.
