Description
A super rarity with possibly ten surviving copies. To render the offering even more enticing is the exceptional grade for both record and cover. Frost was a Memphis-based one-man band who produced this album and a few singles in the 60's. Frost unleases crude rhythm drenched tunes, including a take on Jimmy Reed's "Hey Boss Man", and, listed as "Jack's Jump", an instrumental version of "Mystery Train". The incredible cover bears gloss across entire surface, in addition, physical state of cover (corners, spine, seams) is impeccable. The disc itself displays full gloss and has been play graded. It plays near mint with just a couple of soft clicks heard. The record has a very minor warp effect at the beginning of each side which does not effect play. The record grades out to VG+. Well, I just figured I'd better add a few details on how great this album really is. I would say that next to Smokey Smothers and Howlin Wolf it probably is the definitive Blues album of the early 1960's. Can't believe how great this album sounds in its ORIGINAL form. The English and Japanese have released copies of this album but its not the same when it comes to sound quality!!!!! Free shipping and insurance in the continental United States!!!
