You can bid with complete confidence.The most important thing you need to know, is that to the absolute best of my knowledge,nearly all of the records I list, unless otherwise noted, have never ever been played on a turntable.These records were sorted, stored, moved a few times, and then stored again for decades. Some carefully, others were not.All of my gradings are strictly visual, and more often than not, quite generous. However, because of various quality in pressings,I cannot guarantee that the pressings themselves will be noise-free. That comes with the territory.Many 50's (e.g. Chess, Vee-Jay, etc.) & 60's pressings, especially the small independent labels, were pressed "on-the-cheap."I will not play these records for any reason. The record you receive will be like new and unplayed. If there are any imperfections, it will be from many years of storage, or more likely a "not-so-great" pressing.I will also not attempt to tell you if I think the song is "funky-terrific", "psych-fabulous" or the like. May have minor scuffs on edges from decades of storage, or a small scuff, scratch or paper scuff on playing area. It's near mint, not mint (which would be 'sealed' to me)M- : A scuff or two or light scratch or two on either or both sides.VG+: Scuffs and some minor scratches in the playing area. Some will most likely be heard.VG: Many scuffs or scratches that will be heard but record should play fine.Record grading is subjective.
