ITEM DESCRIPTION ESTATE BOX LOT OF 225 VINTAGE ASSORTED 45 RPM RECORDS Up for auction is this nice estate found box lot of 225 vintage assorted 45 rpm records. First thing I will tell you is the majority of them appear to be from the 1950's or so and there are some newer through the years. I normally do not deal in records, but this lot appeared to be so nice that I was sure that someone else would also appreciate them. I am no authority on grading the condition of records, but I can tell you that these records appear to have been well taken care of. The second photo shows 2 piles of records which I was amazed at how well kept they were. Random inspection kept revealing to me records that look like they are in new condition, and in many sleeves I could see a jukebox tag. Again, these records appear to have been well kept and as you can see in the photos, almost all of them have been stored in sleeves. Due to the fact that I normally do not deal in records, lot items such as this are sold as-is as-found. This lot of records has not been picked over, and is exactly how I purchased them. The good ones are still in there. While glancing through them, I noticed there is quite an assortment of different types of music. I seen rock'n'roll, country, polka, and a lot of records that are very interesting, but I have never heard of the song off the top of my head, nor did I know the artist. Chances are that these are the unusual or rare ones that you are probably looking for. I have also seen some records where it will give the artist accompanied by an orchestra, but had really cool names to the songs. I had also seen some records where right in the title of the song is the word "Jazz", so I am guessing they are jazz music. I am an older gentleman and have been around for quite a while and have heard a lot of music in my day, and I find this lot of records to be very interesting, and look to me like a lot of fun to go through. Oh, I forgot to mention that there are some picture sleeve records. Not all of them have the original record in the sleeve, but the chances are the original record is in the pile somewhere. I have photographed most of the picture sleeves, and I think there is a couple more in the pile. I have also randomly displayed some of the different record labels, and I have also spread out the 3 piles of sleeved records for you to view, which pretty much show how vintage most of the sleeves are. I have now done my best to give you some idea of this really nice lot of records. I was very impressed with the condition when I was randomly viewing them. Very nice, and there is 19 pounds of records here, and there is actually 3 or 4 extra records above the 225 which I have stated. A couple extra in case you find any problems with a couple.
