Sealed albums from the 60's by"THE FAB FOUR"are"HOLY GRAIL" FINDS !! This factory-sealed album was foundat an estate sale with a group ofother sealed LPs (some titles in quantities)so possibly the original owner was inthe record or radio business back in the 60's. All of the albums found were from1965 through 1969and many had the original price stickerson them - like this one for "$4.99" !! The list price of $5.98 is consistentwith that time period as well,since the label used the prefixesto alert retailers to price accordingly. AfterTHE BEATLESandCAPITOL RECORDSrenegotiated their agreement in 1969,all of their albums sported a"SO" or "SW" prefix, indicating a higher list. The word "STEREO" is at the topof the title spine with theCAPITOL "DOME" LOGOfollowed by the release number(with no prefix) at the bottom. That would seem to suggest thatthis pressing is one of the first issued. The labels used to print one cover slickand position it up or down to reveal if it wasA MONO OR STEREORECORD INSIDE.
