FIRST PUBLISHED/NO SOLD IN UK Here's a very nice and super rare 1963 Stereo copy of the Beatles Debut album, PLEASE PLEASE ME on UK Parlophone. This is the 4th pressing, and the 2nd Yellow and Black pressing; with the "Recording First Published 1963" line on the label, but without the "Sold in the UK" line. The disc is in EX condition; overall very clean, but having been played carefully (there are spindle marks not visible in the photo.) The matrix numbers are YEX 94-1 / 1/ H and YEX 95-1/ 1/ A and the tax code has M and T on either side of the spindle hole and K below it. All of this indicates a very early Stereo pressing. The large "STEREO" Ernest J. Day & Co. cover is in EX condition, with a very clean front, some ultra light ageing on the back (barely visible) and a bit of wear at the corners & on one edge of the flipback--but overall very clean.
