Like a fine wine...or a tasty bourbon. Smooth in it's delivery, but prepared for a kick in the throat. The 1st press was put out on Ant Hill Mob Recs and sold out quickly. This repress has new cover art by NYHC art legend Sean Taggert and a bonus track not included on the first press. All new drummer, great production, great musicians, and quality song writing gives this album a step ahead of the others. Combining streetpunk, Oi!, punk rock, rock n’ roll, pub rock, and some doses of ‘70’s guitar rock, the Weekend Warriors live up to their energetic live performances on this recording. 12 full tracks here. It’s hard to compare them to any other band as they have a very unique and distinct sound. With their two 7”s on Headache Records, appearances on various compilations including the infamous US of Oi! Vol. 2 and Backstreets of American Oi! and East Coast of Oi!, and their split full length CD “Beer Guts and Drunk Sluts” with Pittsburgh’s Weekend Warriors released mid-2003 on Street Anthem, the Broken Heroes are lookin’ to take the scene by storm. With new lead vocalist Mike, The Broken Heroes bring you their most solid material yet; mixing classic NJ Oi!, east coast street punk attitude, west coast melodies, and hardcore breakdowns that only an east coast band can perfect. Add a killer studio recording and you’ve got the best album in 2005! 14 tracks including some re-done versions of some of their classic early songs, also hidden bonus tracks included! Also lead guitarist TJ also plays in Blanks 77 and they've all had members of all the other New Jersey bands at some point or another. 17.  American Static "Soundtrack of the Struggle" CD on Street Anthem Recs, Take some early 80s American hardcore, a fistful of the Clash, some traditional American roots music and a big shot of working class attitude. American Static were formed in 1997 originally under the name the Roustabouts, which  They now changed their name back to The Roustabouts to confuse you more. Killer Sacto style Oi!/streetpunk, think Pressure Point, Whiskey Rebels, Rancid, and the Clash rolled into one. 18.  Alleged Bricks "Place Your Blame" CD on Street Anthem Records; Alleged Bricks are four guys with a shared taste for Oi! and East coast Hardcore. Formed in Washington, DC in 2000, they decided to put together a band as an outlet for their frustration with everyday life and the nuances of being working members of modern society. They play aggressive music and make no apologies for it. These men aren't out to start a fight; but the idea that someone or something might threaten the well-being of their friends and family is completely unacceptable, and should be dealt with as such. Featuring members of legendary 80's dischord band Scream as well as other longstanding DC bands such as the Suspects to name a few. Includes a Bad Brains cover to boot. Killer Old school, east coast hardcore mixed with hard-edged American Oi! Fans of both real hardcore and real Oi! will love this disc.  19.  Dreadful Children "Dot to Dot" CD on Street Anthem Records; If you must try to describe their “Sound” it could be said it is a good blend of punk, hardcore and a little Oi. The DREADFUL CHILDREN play music reminiscent of the TOY DOLLS, STIFF LITTLE FINGERS. GBH and have been told that they also have an old 999 kind of sound. One rabid fan even described them as “the perfect blend between the TOY DOLLS and IRON MAIDEN”! 20.  Hudson Falcons "Singles Collection" CD on Street Anthem Records;  This is it, the hardest working band in punk rock, New Jersey's Hudson Falcons have a collection of hard to find and out of print material.
