Description
DO NOT MISS THIS: This tape is part of a collection I bought over a year ago... a collection of early Christian garage bands and metal bands, the likes of which never hit CCM formally. For every Stryper who made it huge, there is a Mental Destruction who were at best locally big. For every Bride, there was 4 like Apostle or Adam's Rage. Garage bands form the basis of every teens dream... to express themselves in music, with the hopes of making it, or of reaching the hearts of people. Me and some friends have been slowly archiving the collection I bought, and it's taken us a year to convert 1/3rd of it to MPth3. Thus it's finally time for me to present to you all out there...... The bands that helped build Christian Music to where it is today. Many... and I do mean MANY... of these bands have never been seen on Ebay. Most never will again. This collection was unique, and I recognized that from the start, so many of you collector's out there will be blessed indeed. If you were a former band member.... please.... PLEASE!!!!! Write me and tell me your band's story so that I can properly archive your history. The project I've undertaken is huge, and your help would be valuable. Provide memories & details... who did you get to be on stage with? Biggest concert you remember? what caused the band to break apart? Where did the members wind up later in life? Please let me know. Lastly, here's the legend I created when I was taking my own notes. I will use these abbreviations throughout these auctions, so pay attention to them. Legend - Gr for Garage = Memorex, low-budget, not expecting much, probably recorded on sisters borrowed tape recorder Cu for Custom = someone paid to have the tape made, but still a step below professional. Paper sticker sidings on tape, photocopied insert. Probably recorded on an 8 track recorder, if lucky. Pr for Professional = Someone's uncle splurged and bought them some time at a recording studio. nicely done tape. In for Indie = they got signed to a label, minor label, and so the tapes not half bad. Ms for Mainstream / Se for Secular = The caught the attention of someone in the Record industry proper and managed to get something released. To one and all out there..... Most of these tapes I only have ONE copy.... do NOT miss your chance. To the Winning Bidder ONLY.... ONLY.... I can include a CDeeR of this tape with your purchase, for $2 extra. This covers cost of materials and the postage increase from the extra weight. Take the second postage option, if you wish this. Overseas buyers.... please let me know up front if you want the CDeeR, I'll have to adjust the postage manually before invoicing you. . Here's what you are bidding on: . . . CRUX "Crux" on Cassette. (1994 Boot To the Head Release) My original Notes: Crux Selftitled 94 (Pr – Oregon – Punk??) This band went forward to have a major release on T&N Added for this auction (who knows, maybe someone out there knows these people...): The Band info isn't given, sorry. My reviewer's notes (I don't always have these, so don't expect them with every auction, one of my helpers was a former writer): Crux – Same Crux that released “Failure to Yield” on Tooth and Nail Records. Musically it is thrash-core, similar to Left Out, Ninety Pound Wuss, maybe a bit like Torn Flesh. The songs on this Cassette are: Ingrown ; The Bills ; Hatecrime ; Oh Crap ; Devalued ; Tell Me ; Dance Fever ; Generation X ; Hunger ; Bankrupt ; Excuses. (the bold was only to help you read & doesn't reflect hits, personal favorites, backward masking, or conspiracy theories. >grin< ) . ************** The Cassette is in Very Fine shape. Something else to take advantage of..... adding a CD to your order should only run about another $1.50 to your postage... what's there not to like about that? With close to 1,000 CDs to offer in my Ebay store, surely there's something you can grab. Grading= Mint, Very Fine, Fine, Very Good, Good, Poor. If I use all caps, that means it is exceptionally so. I grade ALL items VISUALLY, & VERY strictly . I don't play every tape / CD / video / Lp I sell, sorry, that would take way to much time. POSTAGE / PAYMENT INFORMATION READ THIS.....
